Kids in the Middle

Boys/Girls/Kid are in the middle, the middle, the middle.
Kids are in the middle, ___________ like that!
(2 children in the middle decide what movement to do <jumping,
twisting, stomping, tip toe, etc.> Everyone sings and claps as they
move. They choose 2 other children and go wash hands.)
 

5 Little Sausages

5 little sausages frying in a pan. All of a sudden, one went BAM!
Four little sausages frying in a pan.........three.......two........one......
(5 children stand in middle of circle, or on large pan shape cut out of
black butcher paper. Each child, in turn, is a sizzling sausage that
goes BAM. That child then moves to next activity.)
 

5 Bears in the Bed

5 bears in the bed and the little one said "roll over, roll over",
So they all rolled over and _________ fell out. Four bears in the bed,
and the little one said, etc.
(Put blanket on floor. 5 children are bears laying on blanket. Child
named rolls off blanket and is sent to next activity. Continue until all
have had a turn.)
